Winter Wonderland - Visit Skagit Valley - North Cascades National Park to Farmlands to Salish Sea

Winter Wonderland

Snow trucked in from Mt Baker, reindeer, wagon rides, famous movie Princesses and
Superheroes, indoor carnival activities… it’s all coming to the Children’s Museum of Skagit County at the Cascade Mall this December.

Families from all over the Pacific Northwest can spend the day, or the weekend, playing indoors and outdoors at this multi-age event. Thanks to the support of the City of Burlington’s Lodging Tax Grant and a myriad of sponsors, families can learn and play for FREE. There will also be a few additional activities, like a gingerbread house workshop, that will require payment to participate.

“We are looking forward to another exciting event especially since this year it’s 3 days with more to doboth inside and outside” said Jenny O’Brien, Marketing Manager for the Cascade Mall, “Winter Wonderland has the best of both worlds with opportunities to build a snowman, slide down a hill, visit reindeer and then head inside to warm up with the bouncy houses, mini golf, music, crafts and much more!”

Though admission to the event is free, each participant will need to register daily for a new wristband. This helps the Museum track attendee and visitor data and more importantly to plan for the next year!  Participants of all ages are welcome and encouraged to play and interact! For a full schedule see the Skagit Children’s Museum website.
