Swing The Gates 5K and 10K

Swing the Gates 5k and 10k returns for its fourth year on Halloween, October 31, 2026, at Deception Pass State Park in Oak Harbor, Washington. Hosted in a community atmosphere for runners, walkers, nature lovers, families, and K-9 companions, the event features a 5K Fun Run on primarily paved surfaces and a challenging 10K Team Scavenger Hunt across park trails and roads. Costumes are encouraged, prizes are offered for top 5K finishers and the winning 10K team, and a virtual 5K/10K option is also available.
