We are thrilled to welcome Shawn Kemp to the BetRivers at Swinomish Sportsbook Lounge again on August 12! Drafted in 1989 when he was just 19, the power forward and center spent the first eight years of his 14-year career in the Seattle SuperSonics, ushering the team into a new golden era. During his tenure in Seattle, he was a five-time NBA All-Star and a three-time member of the All-NBA Second Team. He is still widely regarded as one of the best slam dunkers of all time and has long championed basketball returning to Seattle.

While playing for the SuperSonics, Kemp also played for the gold-winning USA Basketball Men's National Team in the 1994 FIBA World Championship. He was one of five players named to the All-Tournament Team that year, sharing the honor with basketball greats Shaquille O'Neal, Reggie Miller, Dino Rađa, and Sergei Bazarevich.
