Skagit Valley Harvest 2022

It’s time to dress cozy, create a road trip playlist, grab a pumpkin spice latte, and drive to the Skagit Valley to celebrate the Skagit Valley Harvest! We have tiny cabins near waterfalls, farm stays, and waterfront hotels, along with dog-friendly hotels that offer e-bike rentals!

Our farm-to-table restaurants will serve up the harvest, and our shellfish farm will serve up tide-to-table oysters right on the beach.

Skagit Valley Hops and Barley

Skagit Valley hops are being harvested, and Skagit Valley barley farmers are wrapping up their harvest. Skagit Valley is home to Skagit Valley Malting and the Skagit Farm to Pint Ale Trail. Grab your Skagit Farm to Pint Ale Trail passport, collect stamps and win prizes as you explore our local beer scene throughout the Valley. You can also catch the annual Bier on the Pier festival if you are in the Valley on the second weekend of October.

Giant Pumpkin Festival

We kick off our Harvest season with the Giant Pumpkin Festival! See the giant pumpkins weighed, and enjoy games and festivities including the A-maze-ing Hay Maze, live music, and a beer garden.

B’town FallFest

B’town Fall Fest is the last weekend in September and features tons of free family fun at the Skagit River Park in Burlington.

The most unusual events are the Pumpkin Slingers Contest and Zucchini Car Building Stations.

Festival of Family Farms

Family farms across Skagit County are excited to open their barn doors just for you to experience this opportunity to explore and learn – down on the farm. During the festival weekend, the first weekend of October, you can participate in a special time to honor, celebrate and share in the bounty of local agriculture and connect with the farmers that provide locally grown foods and goods. The weekend activities include farm tours, harvest markets, educational displays, demonstrations, kid’s activities, corn and hay mazes, animal exhibits, pumpkin patches, hay rides, food, music, and lots of fun.

It is a chance to talk to your farmers and follow your food from the field to the table. This event offers a hands-on experience in learning what it takes to run a farm, from growing crops to feeding animals and supplying products to the public. Our experienced generational farmers look forward to sharing their knowledge and products with you! Bring your families, friends, and children to the farm. Use the easy-to-follow farm map, relax and enjoy the scenic drive as you visit the farms of your choice.

The Harvest at Skagit Acres

Every weekend in October Skagit Acres features Harvest events and activities. From a campfire chef BBQ competition to apple slingshots and a farm animal rescue and mentoring petting zoo!

Gordon Skagit Farms

Crunch an apple…choose a wreath…lose yourself in the corn maze. Chase the perfect pumpkin in the U-pick field or creative displays. Sip hot cider and taste a perfect treat on weekends. Copy one of their favorite recipes from the blackboard and find the perfect backdrop for a photo.
