Sip Your Way Through the Skagit Farm to Pint Ale Trail

Calling all beer lovers! The Skagit Farm to Pint Ale Trail is the best way to experience the beautiful Skagit Valley! It’s no secret that we love the Skagit Valley; Marcus and I have made the trip to this beautiful area an hour north of Seattle multiple times this year. The most recent was to sip our way through the area’s Farm to Pint Ale Trail. This is such a fun way to explore the Skagit Valley! Pick up an Ale Trail passport at any area brewery (there are 13) and you have the brewery stamp it when you stop in for a beer. Get all the stamps and get a signature Farm to Pint Ale Trail pint glass!

Anacortes Brewery and Rockfish Grill: This brewery and sister restaurant are side by side and you can sit in their new heated outdoor area and enjoy lunch and some local beer. The fish and chips here are a must and the Dungeness mac and cheese is to die for.

Explore Anacortes: After lunch, explore this sleepy little seaside town. We window shopped and checked out the local record store before making our way to stunning Cap Sante Park.

Cap Sante Park: A great place to take some photos and take in the views! We saw lots of deer driving up; they’ll come right up to your car! There are several trails in the park, or you can just drive to this lookout.

Bastion Brewing Company: They’ve created a fun, outdoor covered eating and drinking area. In addition to local beer, they’re also serving delicious barbecue, burgers, and sammies; it’s a very family-friendly atmosphere.

Don’t forget to get those passports stamped, y’all!

Chuckanut Brewery: Enjoy award-winning beer here on their covered, heated patio. I’m a big fan of their Chuck Light lager, which is very easy drinking.

When you can’t decide, go with a flight and sample more than one!

Terramar Brewing & Distilling: What’s better than good beer and good pizza? (Nothing.) They’re also distilling their own spirits here and have playfully dubbed themselves a “Brewstillery”. They’ve got a fantastic covered patio with fire pits and a view of the water. The flatbreads are delicious!

The beer here is great but the cocktails with house distilled spirits are also top-notch!

It was a dreary December day when we did the Skagit Farm to Pint Ale Trail but we bundled up and had so much fun sipping and exploring our way through this special area. You’re supporting local farms, restaurants, breweries, and people when you spend your dollars here. So mask up, grab your hand sanitizer and go enjoy sipping your way through this beautiful region!
