Discover the diverse and bountiful crops of the Skagit Valley by exploring its produce stands brimming with locally-grown fresh foods. Meet your farmer and connect to an exceptional agricultural community growing over 80 commercial crops. All the while, enjoy the Skagit countryside with unsurpassed vistas of the San Juan Islands, Olympic Coast Range, and North Cascades.

Farmstand Fresh signals summer across the valley by showcasing over 18 participating roadside stands. Gain access to the freshest of foods that last days if not weeks longer; the only transportation needed is in your own cooler! In addition to sun-kissed berries, produce, and vegetables, find farmstead cheeses, cold-pressed juices, eggs, pastured meats, and delightful treats crafted by Skagit’s food artisans.

Greet the growers and taste the bounty when visiting Skagit’s farm stands

Guests can meet the growers, visit the fields and farms, and bite into summertime (such as sun-sweetened berries, red ripe Heirloom tomatoes, crunchy carrots, and scratch-baked goods.) Visit any one of the 18 participating farm stands listed below.

Blackburn Gardens

Within walking distance of downtown Mount Vernon, find owner Laura Ward’s micro-urban farm and flower stand. Bouquets, cut flowers, produce, and plant starts are offered April through September. On just under 1 acre of city land, the growing magic happens!

Boldy Grown Farm

Certified organic family farm offering year-round produce, locally-made specialty items, and Boldly Grown pepper powders. Regional leaders in radicchio production, owners Amy Frye and Jacob Slosberg grow numerous varieties. Located in Bow, Washington off of Chuckanut Drive.

Bow Hill Blueberries

Established in 1947, Bow Hill Blueberries is the oldest family-run blueberry farm in the Skagit Valley. Co-owned by the Matheson and Ranz families, they sell heirloom, Certified Organic blueberries and award-winning jams, pickles, juice, powders and more.

Golden Glen Creamery

All-natural, handcrafted cheese, butter, and dairy from the herd of Holstein, Guernsey, and Jersey cows. Dairy, creamery and farm store owned and operated by Norma Ruiz and family in Bow, Washington.

Hedlin’s Family Farm

Located in the heart of the Skagit Valley near the mouth of the Skagit River, Hedlin’s Family Farm is a 3rd and 4th Generation farm growing Organic and conventional produce on 500 acres outside the town of La Conner. Their farm store offers fresh fruit, produce, artisan foods, and freshly baked goods.

Island Health Farmstand

Island Health has partnered with Schuh Farms and Water Tank Bakery to provide produce, fresh cut flowers, baked goods, and honey. Located in the 24th Street courtyard at the hospital, the farm stand is open to hospital employees and the public.

La Conner Gardens

Margy & Chris Dariotis’s beautiful roadside stand greets visitors and locals alike with organic fresh produce and flowers. They specialize in gourmet varieties of garlic, tomatoes, and peppers, plus various other fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Products vary throughout the season.

Mesman Farm

Established in 1905, the 5th generation of Mesman Farm continues their family’s organic dairy farming tradition in La Conner, WA. Their farm store hosts organic beef and milk as well as pasture raised pork, lamb, and eggs. Both classic and specialty cuts are regularly stocked. Weekly meal boxes of select cuts are available as well.

Moga Farms

Moga Farms Hay and Farmstand is a family owned and operated farm in the La Conner and Edison areas. Open June through late October, the farmstand offers veggies, herbs and flowers, as well as pumpkins and gourds in the fall, grown sustainably and organically on one acre.

Mossy Gate Flower Farm 

Mossy Gate Flower Farm is a woman-owned, seasonal cut flower farm. With sustainably grown blooms April through October, owner Jesalyn Pettigrew specializes in tulips, daffodils, dahlias, sunflowers, zinnias and much much more! Offering wholesale cuts, arrangements, roadside stand and DIY buckets.

Samish Gold Seafoods

This hometown seafood market offering fresh shellfish including oysters, clams, shrimp, prawns, plus fish and more.  Owned and operated by the Rodarte family, the shellfish is exclusively grown and harvested in Samish Bay waters. The market is located on Avon Allen Road in Bow, WA, adjacent to their oyster bar and taqueria, The Oyster Shuckers.

Since 1963, Schuh Farms has been providing exceptional produce and quality family experiences on the farm. Their Farm Store features from-scratch baked goods, fresh flowers, berries, produce and more. This family farm is a Skagit Valley landmark enjoyed by all generations.

Skiyou Ranch 

Skiyou Ranch is a 4th generation family farm raising Certified Organic, grass-fed beef. Nestled along the Skagit River in Sedro Woolley, WA, owner Tarie Benson and family are dedicated to raising healthy animals in a sustainable environment for their family and yours.

Waxwing Farm 

Waxwing Farm is a Certified Organic, small scale, diverse vegetable farm. Owners Arielle Luckmann and Taylor Barker focus on providing exceptional produce directly to their Skagit Valley community. Their farm stand is located within walking or biking distance of downtown Mount Vernon.
