Join us for a celebration of community and nature in the Skagit watershed with luminary arts! Illuminate Skagit and the Mount Vernon Parks & Enrichment Services will be hosting events throughout the whole month of January! There are luminary lighting decorating parties, workshops, after-school programs, and free globe luminary kits!
The Illuminight Winter Walk is a luminary-lit procession in downtown Mount Vernon, WA, on January 26th, 2024 starting at 5:00 PM. The event starts and ends at the Riverwalk Plaza – between District Brewing and Taste of India.
This is the 10th annual event, and there are lots of fun things planned to celebrate!
Music Starts at 5 pm. The walk will start around 5:50 pm.
Free luminaries will be available at the event (while supplies last), or make your own at Tri Dee Arts during business hours the day of the event.
Have an old luminary but no light? No worries – free lights will be available at the information booth (while supplies last).
