Celebrate the Skagit Valley Harvest – Safely!

The Valley has big open spaces to enjoy the beauty of fall and the cornucopia of the harvest.  Our favorite fall harvest are pumpkins!  From the Giant Pumpkin Contest to our fields of pumpkins, we have the perfect pumpkin for you! We know that your trick-or-treating will be a different experience this year, but carving pumpkins at home and displaying them is a safe tradition to continue.

The Skagit Valley Harvest Loop

“Experience fall, one pumpkin at a time,” is the saying over at Gordon Skagit Farms, one of the stops on the Harvest Loop.  Enjoy the Harvest Loop in whatever order works best for you!  The order presented here is starting at the Conway exit on I5 and ending at the Burlington exit on I5.  Don’t forget your face masks and hand sanitizers!  Visiting pumpkin patches is considered a moderate risk activity by the CDC.  However, we discourage anyone from traveling to the Skagit Valley if you live in an area with a community spread of COVID-19.

Snow Goose Produce
Snow Goose Produce is an open-air country market located on Fir Island and on the way to La Conner.  Snow Goose will be open for the first two weeks of October and is famous for its “immodest” ice cream cones.

Hedlin’s Family Farm in La Conner

Hedlin’s Family Farm is right at the round-about when you enter the historic waterfront town of La Conner.  Be sure to time this so you can get a bite to eat and stroll down the boardwalk along the Salish Sea waters of the Swinomish Channel.  Enjoy a flight of wine (or a local beer) on the deck of La Conner Sips – kids and dogs are welcome!

Christianson’s Nursery

Christianson’s Nursery is home to the Skagit Valley Giant Pumpkin contest!  Although this year was different because of COVID-19, there was still a weigh-off and winners!  Even though you will not see the giant pumpkins on display, the nursery is a peaceful oasis to peruse unusual plants and say hello to the sweet animals.

The Autumn Market at Gordon Skagit Farms

Crunch an apple, choose a wreath, lose yourself in the free corn maze on the way to the pumpkin field.  Chase the perfect pumpkin in the U-pick field or from the playful displays.  Glimpse another dimension in the haunted barn, sip hot cider and taste a perfect treat!

The Harvest at Tulip Town

Celebrate the Harvest at Tulip Town with fun activities for the entire family, including U-pick Pumpkin Patch and the all-weather Pumpkin Market, corn maze, hayrides, fun fall photos, gifts plus tasty snacks, espresso, and a beer & wine garden
