The eight annual Porterhouse Brewfest 2014 is set for Saturday, August 9th in downtown Mount Vernon, and features three of Washington State’s hottest blues bands, over 25 premium microbreweries and gourmet food from local eateries.
Grab your sunglasses and sun block, and cruise over to the best party happening this summer. Running from 2 to 7:30 pm and located at First and Gates Streets, this brews and blues block party starts off the music scene with the Margaret Wilder Band at 2PM, Mary McPage and the Assassins at 3:50 and Lady A and the Chris Eger Band at 5:40.

The Porterhouse Brewfest 2014 is a benefit for the historic Lincoln Theatre located in downtown Mount Vernon. The 1926 restored theatre offers independent film, concerts, school programs and community events year ‘round.
