2024 UPDATE PASS REPORT

SR 20 the North Cascades Highway is closed between milepost 134 at Ross Dam Trailhead on the west side and at milepost 171 at the Silver Star Gate on the east side. Spring reopening of the route is scheduled for Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m. Travelers are reminded to be prepared for the continued potential for snow and ice on Rainy and Washington passes. Most USFS and NPS facilities are not yet open for the season.
