Magic of Christmas Tree Lighting & Parade 2014

The Magic of ChristmasThis year the theme for the Magic of Christmas is Sedro-Whoolleyville “Presents”. The Magic of Christmas event organizers encourages you to wear Dr. Seuss inspired costumes,  and (of course) the entrants in the parade are encouraged to follow the Seusslike theme.  Watch out for a green furry creature lurking about Sedro-Wholley this holiday season!

The Magic of Christmas begins with the Christmas Parade Festivities happening the first Saturday in December at 3pm with FREE pony rides and train rides for the children, FREE crafts with the S-W Boys and Girls Club, and much more!

The lighting of the Christmas tree kicks off the parade at 5pm sharp. After the parade you can take your children to see Santa at the Sedro-Woolley Eagles located at 1000 Metcalf St!

The second Saturday of December brings the Santa Breakfast at the S-W Community Center located at 703 Pacific Street where children will enjoy a scruptious breakfast of waffles, sausage links, and orange slices with their choice of milk or apple juice for FREE. After their breakfast they can see Santa and get their picture with him (no charge – pictures can be picked up at the Chamber office at a later time).
