La Conner – Perfect Holiday Getaway

When shopping for gifts in La Conner this holiday season, remember that no two shops carry the same item by the same manufacturer.  Businesses in La Conner take pride in being unique and different from their neighbor, both in La Conner and in Skagit Valley.

Each retailer will be happy to ship your purchase to you or the recipient of your purchase – many times wrapping is included as well.

Your purchases go even farther on Sunday, December 1st & 8th during our Season of Giving campaign, when 10% of sales both those days at participating merchants go to local charities. December 1st benefits Hospice of the Northwest Foundation and December 8th benefits the La Conner Sunrise Food Bank.

Did I mention Santa?  Bring your children and grandchildren, young and old, to see Santa at the 10th Annual Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Rotary Club of La Conner on Saturday, December 7th 8:30-11am at Maple Hall.  Only $6 for adults; $3 for children. There’s also a free gift and a picture with Santa!

Later that same evening join us for holiday music performed by La Conner High School Choir from 4-5pm in Gilkey Square, Santa as he lights the Community Christmas Tree at 5pm, and the La Conner Gallery Art Walk & Open Houses from 5-8pm.

And don’t miss seeing Santa as he floats by in the Lighted Boat Parade starting at 6pm on the Swinomish Channel.

La Conner is the perfect getaway for your Christmas, birthday, anniversary, New Year celebrations!
