Local and state transportation officials have set up five detour routes to effectively move I-5 traffic around the Skagit River Bridge as they work to replace the collapsed section by mid-June. A temporary span will be put in place eliminating the need for detours while allowing construction on the permanent span to continue with completion expected in early September.   WSDOT has set up a page for easy access to the detour route maps. WSDOT Apps are also available for your Android phone or iPhone.

The Skagit County welcomes travelers and invite you to come play and stay with us where beauty and genuine northwest adventure await.
